After becoming interested in what technology driven solutions might be able to do, Eduardo moved to California where he is a Professor in Palo Alto University. His research there developed a comprehensive Chatbot called PAT, specifically targeted to support Parents.
Eduardo went on to found and become CEO of Parente AI, a very interesting company that has further developed the Parenting Support Chatbot for the different circumstances that parents face. Hello and welcome to the Coffee with your Therapist Podcast, the podcast where we talk with people, who have an interest in Mental Health and Wellbeing, about their careers, their work, and the music they like, all in 30 minutes.
I was delighted to talk with Professor Ferdinand von Prondzynski about his long career in the academic world which is very interesting and impressive. He has led a few of the most innovative Universities in Ireland, England and Scotland, managing their growth and change. He is probably best known in Ireland for having been the President of DCU during its early growth phase.
However, I found his current new career path, post the normal retirement age, to be the most fascinating and you’ll have to listen to hear what Ferdinand did next and why it matters to him, and indeed, a lot of other people too.
Ferdinand is an engaging speaker and talks about the roles he had, but also talks about the people he met and some of the situations he encountered.
This is a very engaging Podcast about a life well spent and its not over yet. I’m confident you’ll enjoy this. As always, we play out with the Guest’s choice of Playout song, and we get two eclectically contrasting songs at the end. Enjoy.
